Who are we?

Finua.org was founded the first day of the war in Ukraine in 2022. We are Ukrainians and Finns living in Finland. Initially we thought we would just temporarily help Ukrainians arriving in Finland by providing information on the website for a few weeks. However, the situation did not change and today, more than 1.5 years later, the operation has grown and we have gained significant traction and support. Right now we are FinUA-yhdistys ry, a registered non-profit association.

How do we help?

Arrival and integrating into a new country is a challenging process. We publish vital and comprehensive information on finua.org for Ukrainians who have moved to Finland. We help non-English speaking Ukrainian refugees to find jobs, to seek the right kind of help, such as psychological support, and build a bright future in Finland. We also answer their questions in our chat support.
